AP ICET (Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by AP State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) for admission into: MCA (Master of Computer Applications) in universities, affiliated and constituent colleges in Andhra Pradesh
Eligibility - APICET & College Code: KMMC
1. Candidates who secured 50% (For OC) and 45% (SC/ST/BC) aggregate marks in Degree or its equivalent examination are only eligible for admission. 2. Passed BCA/ Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent Degree. Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying Examination. (OR) Passed B.Sc./B.Com./B.A. with Mathematics at 10+2 Level or at Graduation Level (with additional bridge Courses as per the norms of the concerned University). Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying Examination of APICET of Andhra Pradesh.
Eligibility - SPOT or CAT_B
The vacancies are to be filled firstly with qualifying examination and secured rank in APICET and, secondly the candidates should have passed the qualifying examination 10+2+3 i.e, Bachelor Degree of minimum three year duration conducted by the University (as defined in the University Grants Commission Act, 1956), the candidates must have secured at least 50% marks for OC and 45% above for (BC/SCIST) in aggregate marks in Bachelor Degree. Eligibility for admission into MBA and MCA Programmes is as follows: BCA, BSC or Degree with Computers or IT or Degree with Maths (at Inter or Degree level) / The Mathematics as one of the MBA, MCA subject in (10+2) for MCA course.
Admission Procedure
1. Appear for AP ICET Exam on the scheduled date. 2. Result & Rank Card is published. 3. Counselling Registration starts on the official portal (e.g., icet-sche.aptonline.in / cets.apsche.ap.gov.in). Candidates must register, pay the processing fee and verify documents. 4. Document Verification online. 5. Web Option Entry (college & course preferences). 6. Seat Allotment based on rank, options filled and seat availability. 7. Reporting to Allotted College to confirm admission. At the time of counseling candidate can join in MCA based on rank and rules of reservation. Apart from regular seats, a payment/sponsored seats are available. Candidate who are appearing for payment/sponsored seats they must submit the application directly to the college.
